Treatment in Gilbert AZ

Our priority is to begin treatment for your condition as soon as possible. Unless Dr. Brown sees some specific reason not to begin treatment on your first visit, you will normally receive treatment on your first visit.

Our average patient in pain is out of pain in 1-6 treatments. The fastest results are obtained by combining Chiropractic with other therapies such as Acupuncture and Massage Therapy. Why do some Chiropractors routinely recommend 30-40 treatments or more? We don’t know. We do know that when you combine Chiropractic with other therapies, results are much faster.

At Brown Chiropractic & Acupuncture, PC, we do not harass patients to come in for ongoing treatments once their issue has been resolved. After your condition has been successfully treated, you can choose to return for maintenance treatments on a regular basis, or you can choose to return as needed. We will not pressure you either way.

Are X-Rays Always Required?

Are X-rays always necessary? Not in our office. Dr. Brown only orders X-rays if they are medically necessary for your specific condition. To ensure our patients receive the highest quality digital X-rays possible, we have our X-rays taken at a professional X-ray facility, and your X-rays will be interpreted by Dr. Brown and a professional radiologist. Even if you have no insurance coverage for Chiropractic, health insurance will normally pay for X-rays ordered by a Doctor of Chiropractic if the X-rays are taken at a professional X-ray facility.

What if I need an MRI?

Doctors of Chiropractic are qualified to order and interpret MRI examinations. Even if you have no insurance coverage for Chiropractic, health insurance will normally cover MRI examinations ordered by a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Arch Support / Foot Orthotics

Our office can prescribe arch supports and foot orthotics. Dr. Brown recommends and personally uses custom-made Spinal-Pelvic Stabilizers from Foot Levelers. Spinal-Pelvic Stabilizers are used in the treatment and prevention of extremity and spinal problems. We have equipment in our office to cast your feet and determine the best type of orthotic for you.
